I'm trying to manually assign a label and serial to a cd-rom through winecfg and it doesn't seem to be working :/ Even tried looking thru the registry and didn't find anything familiar... I'm using wine 0.9 LPT

That won't work of course on a RO file system. BUT wine should be able to read the label and serial just fine from the CDROM itself. The question is of course, is that not working and if not why not?
