wine users - Aug 2004 - wine --version segfaults

Hi,
I just installed wine 20040615-1 from debian unstable and ran
winesetup. wine segfaults on anything i try to run:

wine --version

   Invoking /usr/lib/wine/wine.bin --version ...
   /usr/bin/wine: line 474:  2046 Segmentation fault   $WINEBIN/$WINE_BIN_NAME 

                                                                     $DASH
"$@"
   Wine failed with return code 139
   Segmentation fault

I have in ~/.wine/config:

   [Drive C]
   "Path" = "/home/russell/win"
   "Type" = "hd"
   "Label" = "/home/russell/win"
   "Filesystem" = "win95"

In "/home/russell/win", i have a drive C: win98 that works in win4lin.
I'm using XFree86 4.3 server.

$WINEBIN/$WINE_BIN_NAME
Either use the cvs version (you must compile wine yourself) or wait for
the expected August version of wine.
