Hi,
I have a problem running the games mentioned above with WINE...
Wine-Debugger reports on all these an unhandled exception.
It seems to occur when I click somewhere...
(I think that, but perhaps it's something completely different ;) )
Errorreports:
###Alpha Centauri:
I start axstart.exe (the program where you choose whether to play SMAC or
SMACX(the addon) with "WINEDEBUG=all"_
Game goes to fullscreen_
The Firaxis Logo Video shows up_
The choosingscreen appears: Everything is fine: Animated Logos(of SMAC and
SMACX), sound, mouse, colors_
I click on an icon: Program crashes, Wine-Dbg starts_
No Window is left_

I clicked "Retry" (in "ClassInvariant Assertion Failed"):
Program crashes,
Wine-Dbg starts_
Some Windows are left_
Quited Wine-Dbg_
"Steam allready running" stays: I click ok_
The first Error("Debug Assertion Failed") appears again_
I click "Retry": Nothing more happens, Steam is quit_

Another game that doesn't work (I think the same error -> click):

An errordialog apears, saying:
"Could not open MCI file for playback:
263: The specified device is not open or is not recognized by MCI."
I can't see my mouse, the keyboard doesn't work at all_
When I click the errormsg away the HL-Menu-Click-Sound appears_
When I click a menu option the game crashes, or does nothing anymore (I
don't
know), Wine-Dbg starts NOT_
