wine users - Feb 2004 - Wine crashes when I use dead keys (grave and circumflex accents)

Hi,

Whenever I type ?, ?, or ?, etc., Wine crashes immediately before displaying 
the letter. It doesn't have enough time to display any debug message
neither.

Ok. I'm not sure I did the right thing with the debugger, but I tryed :
"winedbg c:\\program\ files\\microsoft\ office\\office\\WINWORD.EXE".

Then I had to type "cont" three times because it stopped at some
breakpoints,
and then, when Word was started, I typed "?" and it froze as usual. So
I made
"CTRL-C" back in the debugger console, so it showed :

Can you try with winedbg and create a backtrace (bt) when it crashes?

There was a fix for a similar problem some time ago. But because you
forgot to mention the wine that you are using, nobody can tell whether
this is the same thing.
