The documentation says
... if you want to install it manually, you can do so by using the
regapi tool to be found in the programs/regapi/ directory in Wine source.
So if you have installed WINE from an rpm, how do you install the registry?
Thanks,
SJR

Steven, could you say where this outdated info comes from ? it needs update. the normal is to do 'regedit winedefault.reg'. (don't know where the rpm installs this file) --- Steven Rubenstein <SJR@ElectricSpectric.com> a ?crit?: > The documentation says> > ... if you want to install it manually, you can do so by using > the > regapi tool to be found in the programs/regapi/ directory in Wine > source. > > So if you have installed WINE from an rpm, how do you install the > registry? > > Thanks, > > SJR >___________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? -- Une adresse @yahoo.fr gratuite et en fran?ais ! Is that a problem?issue rpm -ql name_of_your_wine_rpm |grep "reg" this should show where the file has been installed. if not, your rpm seems to be incomplete. Note that could be a different file name than "winedefault.reg" , as Duane reported. ___________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? -- Une adresse @yahoo.fr gratuite et en fran?ais !
