wine users - Oct 2001 - newbie: wine-20011004 & word97 saving

I've just installed wine 20011004 using tarball. Wordview and word
seem to run nicely, but I cant save edited files. Word claims that the
file already exists or that it is RO or that there is not enough
memory and/or disk space. Anyone knows a solution to this??

Check that you have effectively write access to the directory
where you are trying to save *and* to the directory where you
have the temporary Wine directory (temp entry in the config file)

If all this is allright, it may be a Wine problem. Run with
 -debugmsg +relay,+dosfs,+file 
Redirect the output in a file (it will be huge) and post the
compressed file on a web page somewhere; I'll try to take
a look.
