wine users - Jul 2001 - Up and left arrow key combination

I am currentl;y using WINE 20010326.  When I try holding down the up arrow
key and then pressing the left arrow, the left arrow has not effect.  I have
to release the up arrow and then press the left arrow.  All other arrow
combinations work.  I have only tried this in GTA and Bubble Bobble
Nostalgia.
