wine users - Jul 2001 - wine and Java ?

Hi there,

is it, generally spoken, possible to run Java Programms within Wine ?
I try to do so but always get the same:

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection Critical section 0x400f5508 wait 
timed out, retrying (60 sec) fs=0267
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection Critical section 0x407f4230 wait 
timed out, retrying (60 sec) fs=01e7

timed out, retrying (60 sec) fs=0267
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection Critical section 0x40687290 wait 
timed out, retrying (60 sec) fs=01e7

I can reproduce similar messages by playing arround with some Java 
Programms (btw: even Java-Script)

My system is:
SuSE 7.2 Kernel 2.4.4
Codeweavers wine-20010305 with no Windows.

I have seen messages about someone running a very
small test app under Jdk 1.3. I've not seen a real success
story yet.
