wine users - Jul 2001 - ars - remedy

Hi 

Please help , does anyone out there have the ARS ( action request system)  user
program
from remedy corp. working under wine ?

i have tried several versions and from previous experience the older
versions ie 3.XX seems to be the best , however it gives me a "cannot
initialize locale error" on starting up the client.

i had this error previously and on the "old" app database they had
faqs
on how to solve this , but i see on the new app database ARS has been
omitted  !!!!!!!!!!!

from what i can remember there is a file i have to create for this locale
story !

"cannot initialize locale" points to an ole problem. To debug, run
with
--debugmsg +relay ( and perhaps +ole,+nls) and pipe into a file  and scan
for the first appreance of your error and post the lines
before. Experimenting in running with native ole and friends might help.
