yoo! i'm so exicted about it, i've just got a copy of James Bond 007: Nightfire! It's the name game from EA GAMES in the james bond series (just out with the new movie) The game uses ogg vorbis ! (ogg.dll vorbis.dll and other stuff :)) woooohooo!! what other games use vorbis? just wondering since i'll be usin my splashplastic card with one of their associates that let ppl rent as many games for as long as they want for £19.99 a month. hehe. The only way you could get anything like 10:1 compression with ZIP on a WAV would be if it was mostly silence, or perhaps a constant tone. Ross. BTW, Why is the debug dsp's for all of OGG Vorbis link against the DLL runtime library, but is linked against the static runtime library in release mode?
