Hi- i'm kinda busy doing other stuff at college to read through the mailing list properly, but i read somewhere before that midi data embeded in ogg vorbis files could be used to control lighting stuff. The lighting desk at college has a midi input to control most of the lighting functions. Its also right next to the sound desk. So i was wondering, if it is possible to stick midi data into ogg vorbis files at the moment, once i've tracked down the manual for the lighting desk, how would i go about embedding the correct midi data into an ogg vorbis file? and if it aint possible yet, how long till i can do such a thing?

--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. (Just to give you a head- start until someone who has actually *done* this sort of thing comes along. ;)
-- -:-:- David K. It's not elegant, but it can be done. jack. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
