[vorbis] kolabore.de now vorbisized, up and running angain
Hi! FYI, the web site http://www.kolabore.de/ where we offer our own music is now completely vorbisized. :-) Because of the many releases we switched from direct download links to a simple database/cgi, so if you stumble over any problems, please let me know! Thanks and bye, Moritz --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. No, not possible. Ogg is intended to be multi-format anyway (Ogg-Vorbis for audio, Ogg-Tarkin for video). Just replace the ogg bistream layer with one that does AVI and stick each vorbis packet in a chunk. Of course, we like ogg better as an interleave format. :-) -ralph --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. No, if a directshow codec for ogg existed, I'd be using ogg exclusively! This is something that better come with ogg version 1 though. -jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jonas Kohlrautz" <jkohlrautz@web.de> To: <vorbis@xiph.org> Sent: Thursday, February 15, 2001 3:01 PM Subject: [vorbis] ogg/vorbis in video for windows> is it possible to use vorbis to store the sound in avi videos like withthe> frauenhofer-codec which is shipped with the divx-codec? > > > --- >8 ---- > List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ > Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ > To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' > containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. At 09:01 PM 2/15/01 +0100, you wrote:>is it possible to use vorbis to store the sound in avi videos like with the >frauenhofer-codec which is shipped with the divx-codec?Absolutely, though the neccesary software for that hasn't been written. It probably wouldn't be too hard for someone experienced with that sort of thing in windows. The problem seems to be a number of links of the form: <a href="http://www.kolabore.de/cgi-bin/music.cgi?action=artist&lang=de"> which must read: <a href="http://www.kolabore.de/cgi-bin/music.cgi?action=artist&lang=de"> Netscape seems to be more tolerant, but & must be written as & even within "".
