How about this:

I've switched to MSVC 7 entirely. I believe it can take Visual Studio 6
project
files and convert these automatically. If you want to experiment with MSVC 7,
you
can order a free trial CD from shop.microsoft.com which runs for 90 days.
I personally would love to see the C API of Vorbis getting wrapped into a
managed
C++ class. "Managed" meaning it's running in the intermediate
language interpreter
(JIT compiler) of Microsoft's .NET platform. That way it will be accessible
from
VB.NET, C#, J# and other languages based on .NET
