I am happy to announce that the Ogg spec is now published as an RFC: The Ogg Encapsulation Format Version 0 (by Silvia Pfeiffer) http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3533.txt The application/ogg Media Type (by Linus Walleij) http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3534.txt Silvias doc is informational, while the transport type is on the "standards track" which means that the IETF essentially agree with us that application/ogg is a nice MIME type for Ogg things. This is a first step in establishing Ogg as an industry standard, and it will not be the last.
