Monty merged his branch onto mainline. mainline is now beta4. Give it a whirl, test the crap out of it, etc. I've got about 20-30 emails full of minor patches and a few big patches for build system stuff, so for those of you who were waiting on me, I haven't forgotten and will be getting to those in the next few days. If all goes well, we'll be tagging beta4 and cutting the releases before the end of the month. jack. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Give it a whirl, test the crap out of it, etc.Trying it now & am quite impressed. While decoding is a little faster (playback takes ~18% CPU, down from 20%), encoding is TWICE AS FAST! I've gone from ~0.5x to 1.03x using oggenc w/no options on a K6-2/450. Good work! -- ______________________________________________________________________________ | Brian Havard | "He is not the messiah! | | brianh@kheldar.apana.org.au | He's a very naughty boy!" - Life of Brian | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. I've built oggenc and in_vorbis.dll from today's CVS source, feel free to download: http://209.197.15.3/pages/moeljbcp/kode54_net/vorbis/in_vorbis.dll.zip http://209.197.15.3/pages/moeljbcp/kode54_net/vorbis/oggenc.exe -Chris M.
