I am using Fedora Core 3 distribution with tinc-1.0.3-1.1.fc3.rf. These are the contents of my configuration files: /etc/tinc/saaotun/tinc.conf: Name = suth DEvice = /dev/net/tun /etc/tinc/saaotun: /sbin/ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.0.0.0 /etc/tinc/saaotun/hosts/suth: -----BEGIN RSA PUBLIC KEY----- MIGJAoGBAMNiy1zXS6k3s+ocIdFWKU6MbpW3rQXGp7yIL+baY7GMxhOmsgZdyc1B yQLJferCAhnR3gtU/zkeTASJOlTiZgmzwWSC0Ob4BOc5fUf6Uk6erVcPirzFe8G1 VNyagm1w/4L92hla8Xmw8rjxnNo6r2Jf/JfTZ/i3CbnIAZhPLuopAgMBAAE-----END RSA PUBLIC KEY----- When I do "tincd -n saaotun", I get this message in the error logs: "wait_for_sysfs[3643]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev 039) needs an update to handle the device '/class/net/saaotun' properly (no device symlink) or the sysfs-support of your device's driver needs to be fixed, please report to <linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>" I removed /dev/net/tun and recreated it using the usual mknod command, but this message still occurs. I installed tinc on a RedHat-8.0 system an there it seems not to give any error messages. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Report this problem to linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net like the error message says. -- Met vriendelijke groet / with kind regards, Guus Sliepen <guus@sliepen.eu.org> -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
