Okay, you asked for it, the new (work-in-progress) VP3 document:

Proceed to tear it apart. Does the stuff make any sense? There are many
incomplete sections (and at least 2 that have not been started yet). If a
section is finished (i.e., it is not marked as [not finished]), does that
section contain enough information for you to re-implement that portion
of the decoding algorithm?
