FWIW my e-mail client ( mutt under linux ) has a good working
"reply to list" function to the Syslinux mailinglist.

However: if a ML configuration change is needed / wanted / desired
  then please tell.

No problems with current Thunderbird 15.0.1, looks like a bug in a test 
build for a future TB 16, or simly a client-side misconfiguration. Mail 
headers look sane, too.
