Syslinux - May 2009 - Question about "core: remove vestiges of using nasm -f bin"

This commit removes

%ifdef MAP
               [map all MAP]
%endif

from core/layout.inc.

Do we need to remove the map option from gfxboot.asm too?
My ancient nasm 0.98.39 doesn't print any warning.

No, since the files in modules/ are compiled with nasm -f bin.  The ones
in core/ are compiled with nasm -f elf (and then run through the linker)
these days.
