I wish to know if there is a way to show a graphic file with 640X480 when starting syslinux bootloader withou showing the boot prompt. I want to show the graphic, then, after 4 seconds, just boot the linux, with no prompt. I tryed to make this in the syslinux.conf : prompt 0 DISPLAY boot.msg timeout 40 in the boot.msg: ^Xsyslogo.lss But it doesn't work. The timeout timer don't work. The syslinux shows the image and then start to load linux imediately. Thanks for any help. Sergio
Hi to all. I wish to know if there is a way to show a graphic file of 640X480 with no boot prompt during 4 seconds and then, proceed with the linux load. I tryed to do this in the syslinux.cfg : DEFAULT 1 DISPLAY boot.msg prompt 1 LABEL 1 etc... this shows the boot: prompt on the picture. So I tryed to change prompt to 0. This time, there is no boot prompt but the linux load starts imediately. the boot.msg is : ^Xsyslogo.lss Thank you for your help. Sergio
