[Speex-dev] (maybe OFF-TOPIC:) speex for voice-message/mail application
Hi, This may not be the right place to ask this question, but for the want of a better alternative I am posing this query here. Pointing to the more appropriate forum would be immensely appreciated. Are there any existing products / projects that use Speex for discontinuous transmission, as in voice-message / voice-mail application ? Also, what is the recommended container format for speex encoded speech data, for voice-mail / voice-recorder type application, i.e. for saving them in files? If in addition to pure voice, I add some textual tags or annotations, what would be the most suitable format / container? thanks, ica.
