Error loading R Commander with version 2.10.1 on MacOS 10.5 or 10.6
Dear R Commander experts,
I have now had multiple failures in loading R Commander with R version 2.10.1 (most recent one on the CRAN site) on a Mac running OS 10.5 or 10.6. The installation of R Commander seems to proceed normally, but when I try to start up R Commander, it never loads. It appears that it is loading the tcl/tk package that is failing even though I have started up X11 in advance.

R Commander options
I realize this is basic, but I can't figure out the syntax for setting
options for R Commander. I'm running Linux Mint and want to increase the R
Commander font sizes. I see that there are (apparently command line)
options to do so. I have a desktop launcher with the following command
line:
sh -c 'R_DEFAULT_PACKAGES="$R_DEFAULT_PACKAGES Rcmdr" R "$@"'

But, running

R and R commander
Hi,
I am a student studying Biostatistics at University. We have been advised to install R and R commander. I managed to do this successfully, except I wasn't able to complete the final step - which would enable both R and R commander to launch when I open the R icon on my desktop.
However, I haven't been able to save it and for this to work.
The last instructions we were given are:

Cuestión sobre R-Commander
¿Porqué cuando cerramos una sesión de R-Commander no podemos volver a abrirlo desde la consola del R (por ejemplo con library(Rcmdr) ) salvo que cerremos la sesión de R y volvamos otra vez a entrar?
¿Tiene esto algún arreglo sencillo? Trabajo desde Windows 7.
