Survey - twophase
Dear WizaRds,
I am struggling with the use of twophase in package survey. My goal
is to compute a simple example in two phase sampling:
phase 1: I sample n1=1000 circuit boards and find 80 non functional
phase 2: Given the n1=1000 sample I sample n2=100 and find 15 non
functional. Let's say, phase 2 shows this result together with phase 1:

IPsec works, but racoon/IKE does not
I have no idea whatsoever as to why racoon/IKE does not work here.
I've tried various how-to documents but found nothing that works for
me.
Gateway (10.0.0.1) running 4.9-stable.
Laptop (10.0.0.10) running 5.2.1-release.
Both running racoon-20040408a
On the gateway 10.0.0.1
# cat /etc/ipsec.conf
add 10.0.0.1 10.0.0.10 esp 691 -E rijndael-cbc "1234567890123456" -A

the AD migration. Our hardware is old and we need to migrate.
Please allow me to explain the current setup

we are using configs from Samba3.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for that. So it doesn't matter if I have TDB as my DB? Also, how
do I replicate the data? Copy and paste ? /vat/lib/samba ,/private , passwd
and group files?

libao on Debian
Hi,
I've just installed libao-1.1.0 on a new Debian install.
I also have alsa 1.0.27.1 installed.
Debian is running under VirtualBox 4.2.12 under OSX 10.6.8, on a MacBookPro.
libao does not work in stereo for the sampling rate of 44100, but it
does for 8000, 11025, 22050and 48000.
When I send it two channel output at a sampling rate of 44100, the
result includes what sounds like skips,

[LLVMdev] Building clang on Raspberry Pi2
The raspberry Pi2 is an armv7a chip (Cortex-A7), the first stage builds
fine with the native g++ (if not a little slowly at 10+ hours), but it
crashes at some point with this command line:
Program arguments:

Scatter plot / LOESS, or LOWESS for more than one parameter
Hi folks.
If I have the following in my "data"
event pH1 pH2
1 4.0 6.0
2 4.3 5.9
3 4.1 6.1
4 4.0 5.9
and on and on..... for about 400 events
Is there a way I can get R to plot event vs. pH1 and event vs. pH2 and
then do a loess or lowess line for each??
Thanks in advance
David

lm combined with splines
Hello,
In the following I tried 3 versions of an example in R help. Only the two first predict command work.
After :
library(splines)
require(stats)
1)
fm1 <- lm(weight ~ bs(height, df = 5), data = women)
ht1 <- seq(57, 73, len = 200)
ph1 <- predict(fm1, data.frame(height=ht1)) # OK
plot(women, xlab = "Height (in)", ylab = "Weight (lb)")

[OT] Suitable VPN RPM on centos 5?
I've noticed quite a few of these India consulting companies using the mailing lists to supplement their lack of internal skilled personnel.
It really gives me pause when/if I need to consider outsourcing technology work. The fact that these companies are not upfront about their knowledge base and what they are truly capable of handling makes me wonder if this is really the most cost

racoon with freebsd-4.11 crashes
Hi
Running racoon on a Freebsd-4.11 machine gives a
kernel panic.
I am using the racoon from ports directory which comes
with the freebsd installation.
Steps followed are as shown below:
racoon -f /usr/local/etc/racoon/raccon.conf
setkey -f ipsec.conf
ping -c 1 <ip_of_the_other_gw>
The ping will lead into a crash.
The crash dump looks like for th ping packet it
