LiveVOIP - I win :)
A few months ago, the friendly folks from liveVOIP went under. We had
some discussion on how to limit our losses, and my recommendation was a
chargeback, since "FTTP Services" -- their CC merchant -- wasn't
affected by the bankruptcy, as far as we could tell.
Today, I received this from my CC company:

Question about Aggregate
hello,
Suppose you a monthly series you want to aggregate at a quaterly frequency
with the start and the end of your series in the middle of the quarter.
For example
2001M2 2001M3 2001M4 2001M5 2001M6 2001M7
12 13 12 14 16 15
how can you get something like :
2001Q1 2001Q2 200Q3
NA 14 NA
or
2001Q1 2001Q2 200Q3
12.5 14 15
Thanks in advance

LiveVoip is Bankrupt - Why this thread
I agree with that fact the same questions get posted, but that problem
is compounded by the fact the archives are not really searchable. If the
were as lease some users would search.
The archives need to be fully indexed.

xtable for plm objects
Hello,
I am trying to use Sweave to write up a report, and I have used the
plm package to do some panel models. I am trying to use xtable to make
a nice table for my regression objects (returned by the plm command),
but I am getting the error:
Error in UseMethod("xtable") : no applicable method for "xtable"
It seems like I would want to have xtable treat plm objects exactly

Mouse click works in some parts and not others
I am new to winehq.
I want to use it to run a program called Bestcase but it is not
working. Do I just have to wait for something to happen to fix it or
for someone to care enough about Bestcase to change wine so that it runs
Bestcase? Is there something that I can do to possibly make it work?
What are the steps required to get this program working under wine? I
don't know what the

Quality of provider: VocTel
Any users of the VocTel VOIP service? (Canadian)
How have you found the quality (Choppy / smooth audio)?
Any problems registering? (I have been unable to register for hours)
After reading about the collapse of a big USA VOIP provider, I'm curious
Thanks,
OCG

Definitive CallerID Format and anonymous?
All,
I use various IAX providers to terminate my outbound calls. I set the
caller-ID to one of several DIDs, based on the called number. There
doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what the called user sees,
however.
Calls to most cell-phones show *exactly* the number I submit.
Calls to land-lines sometimes show, other times not.
Calls to other voip-providers most often show, but

binded the mac address, we have bought two set of licenses, can you
provide us some workaround for this scenario?

Vioplot / list help
Hi,
I have some data (lots of year, distance pairs), which I can
straightforwardly boxplot:
dists <- read.table("movedists.dat")
with(dists,plot(as.factor(V1),V2))
If I want to plot these data as violin plots using vioplot, this
approach doesn't work:
> with(dists,vioplot(as.factor(V1),V2))
