Localization (again) a la Thomas Fuchs
Has anyone had any success adapting The Localization plugin in order for
the language to be selected based on a user''s account (i.e:session)?

helping with scriptaculous/Thomas Fuchs MIA?
Hi,
In the last few days I''ve been working a lot on rewriting the
dragdrop.js code. I''ve made changes for what I think is stronger
object-oriented design and made more parallels between how Droppbables
and Draggables are coded and instantiated. I have multiple selection
and dragging of draggables working and droppables can accept multiple
draggables in one drop. There are some

Thomas Fuchs? Helping with Scriptaculous
Hi,
I''ve been doing a lot of rewriting of dragdrop.js. I''ve covered at
least eight open tickets, made multiple selection of draggables,
droppables can accept multiple items at a time, added 21
consistently-named callbacks and have reorganized the code. I''m
working on adding more things to Sortable now. I''m no JavaScript
expert, this is my first project, and I

[jamie@audible.transient.net: Bug#160155: gapless playback]
Jamie,
I hear what you're saying. I don't believe this *should* be
a plugin's responsibility, though it sounds like with XMMS it is.
But I don't know how to fix it. Probably with enough archaeology
into the XMMS source and other plugins I could find out. I'll file
it in the feature requests and hope someone can get to it.

Very audible artifact in RC3
Are you aware that RC3 can cause a scratching, repeating noise to the audio? I
downloaded an album in ogg format and while all other track seem ok, the last
one has this problem. Sounds too weird to be a ripping problem and ogginfo
(1.0) doesn't see any problem with the stream. If you'd like to listen to the
file and have a BIG mailbox (size=3677710) or a login to some webspace,

New asterisk installation but no audible voicemail prompts?
Hi List!
I installed Asterisk 1.0.3 stable on a RHEL rebuild. Due to problems with
* modules refusing to build I replaced the RHEL kernel with stock 2.6.10.
Asterisk seems to be working but when I dial voicemail I hear nothing.
When I hangup I see a message on the console that the calller did not
specify a mailbox number so I guess voicemail app is working.
The phone(Grandstream BT100) is

How to detect the spatial point pattern with Thomas process based on pcf
Hi all,
I am using "spatstat" to investigate the spatial structure of some plant
populations, but I have no idea about detecting the spatial point pattern
with Thomas process based on pcf. Additionally, generating simulation
envelope using this null model is another problem for me. I am not very
familiar with R, so I hope anyone have any experience with this work can

Spatstat - envelope, Thomas process and Cramer-von Mises
Hi all,
I am using "spatstat" to investigate the spatial structure of some plant
populations, and I want to detect these patters with IPP and a Thomas
process based on pair-correlation function. I know the function "pcfinhom"
is available to characterize the IPP, but I have no idea about how to use
the pcf with Thomas process? Additionally, generating simulation envelopes

RE: newhidups and APC Back-UPS CS 350 (Thomas Jarosch)
Thomas,
The none (-22) message in your log is an errno from the
libusb_get_interrupt() call in HIDGetEvents() in libhid.c.
It indicates an invalid ioctl type.
In HIDGetEvents() there is a comment with that call:
/* needs libusb-0.1.8 to work => use ifdef and autoconf */
You may want to make sure your libusb is up-to-date.
Hope this helps, AG

Difficult sample for vorbis w/ audible artifacts
I came across an interesting test sample the other day while trying to
compress some of my music and trying out different encoders. You can grab
the sample in question from here:
http://www.animus-facticius.org
drone_clip.zip is a 9 second clip of the track where the artifact is most
apparent, drone_short.pac is a 1 minute clip of track. The sample is from
