heatmap help
Dear R wizards,
Hopeful someone can help me with what I believe is a pretty simple task. I
pretty new to R so some (much) of the obvious escapes me. How do I get a
distance matrix into heatmap? What do I tell distfun if what I'm trying to
map is already an ordered distance matrix? I tried >heatmap(x,
distfun=as.dist(x)) where x is the distance matrix but R gave me an error.

replace a value in a vector
OK, so this is a really stupid question and should be incredibly simple to
do but I can't figure it out. So maybe someone would be so kind as to tell
me.
I have a vector of zeros and ones. I want to replace all of the zeros with
"black" and all of the ones with "gray". That's it. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

heatmap2 error key
Hi I am trying to understand what happen with the heatmap.2 code that it
used to work (last used in October 2015). I am able to get a heatmap but my
colour key doesn't come up and instead I get an error in all my files the
used to work. Does anyone has any idea of what could have changed? or how
to fix this.
Thanks.

P-value from the joint cumulative distribution of an n-dimensional order statistic
Hello,
I want to compute the P-value from the joint cumulative distribution of an n-dimensional
order statistic in R, using the formula found on
http://cmgm.stanford.edu/%7Ekimlab/multiplespecies/Supplement/methods_network.html
My data consists of three different techniques (G2D, POCUS and RANDOM), and each has
associated with it a number of rankings (integer between 0 and 1000), like for

Setting up ADS in Samba with MIT kerberos mapping/backend
So, I'm trying to figure out how to get Samba to work in this way.
Specifically, I have a 2003 R2 AD in 2003 functional level. All user
accounts are mapped to the same user account name @ our MIT Kerberos
server. Users do not know their AD password.
Can Samba authenticate users with their Kerberos realm passwords, and
know to use the same user name so the UIDs match for both platforms +

matrix plot
Hi,
Fairly new to R - have done basic plots but now faced with plotting a
matrix/table of results -I know what I want but cannot find out how to
do it.
Basically have individual questions ( x) to which an organization can
rate themselves 1-10 (y) what I want to show is a matrix/density type
plot (like the matrix corrolation plots I have seen on R graph site)

Problems communicating with Tripp Lite SMART500RT1U via USB with CentOS 6.6 and NUT 2.6.5

You wouldn't happen to know anyone who would be able to publish the specs of that protocol, would you? ;-) That would help remove the "experimental driver" warning.

UPS Product additions to NUT HCL list for compatible Tripp Lite UPS systems
Hello Mr. Leppe,
See the attached excel file that covers the current Tripp Lite HID compatible UPS systems. There is also an attached Word document covering the UPSC / UPSCMD / UPSRW information from the specific UPS systems. Let me know if this is adequate to get our additional HID compatible products added to the NUT HCL listing.
