Documenting related data sets
Say I want to include the data from Minard's march on Moscow graphic in a package. They consist of three data frames, Minard.troops, Minard.cities, Minard.temp. I've determined that I can document them all in one .Rd file, Minard.Rd, that starts: \name{Minard} \Rdversion{1.1} \alias{Minard} \alias{Minard.cities} \alias{Minard.troops} \alias{Minard.temp} \docType{data} \title{ Data

solving cubic/quartic equations non-iteratively -- comparisons
Hi, I'm responding to a post about finding roots of a cubic or quartic equation non-iteratively. One obviously could create functions using the explicit algebraic solutions. One post on the subject noted that the square-roots in those solutions also require iteration, and one post claimed iterative solutions are more accurate than the explicit solutions. This post, however, is about

Accessing examplars in apcluster (apcluster package)
Hi, I was wondering how it was possible to access the actual cluster exemplars from the APResult class. Currently it only spits it out onto the terminal if you type the object but there is no other way to see which one is the examplar. Would appreciate any help. Thanks, Sachin [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
