Problem with ruby 1.8.4 One-Click Ruby Installer on windows
Hi!
Previously i had ruby 1.8.2 (One-Click Ruby Installer) installed, but
the rdoc and plugindoc didn''t work, so i decided to install ruby 1.8.4.
I had uninstalled ruby 1.8.2 (uninstaller deleted the whole ruby folder
with radrails and everything, just great) and installed One-Click Ruby
Installer 1.8.4-16 preview3.
Then installed rails, rmagick, radrails, created docs for trunk

Instant Rails 1.0 Release Candidate 1
This release upgrades the included Ruby to version 1.8.4 and will become the
final 1.0 release of Instant Rails if no serious problems are found.
Instant Rails is a one-stop Rails runtime solution containing Ruby, Rails,
Apache, and MySQL, all preconfigured and ready to run. No installer, you
simply drop it into the directory of your choice and run it. It does not
modify your system environment.

Strange error ...
I''m getting a very strange error in a very vanilla Rails app setup:
compile error
./script/../config/../app/views/home/index.rhtml:1: parse error,
unexpected $, expecting kEND

... ?
Anyone know what this might be? I installed the Login Engine and the
error started. I''m using

Illegal char \002? Need to restart Rails to see changes?
Hi all,
I''m developing an app on a home Windows computer and using
SVN/Capistrano to deploy to a Linux server. I''m encountering some
bizarre behavior that I think has something to do with Linux and Windows
text file types, but I''m not sure.
What''s happening is that, whenever I edit my view files and reload the
page in my local browser, I see errors saying

Agile Web Dev (book) question: errors
This is kind of frustrating (but no doubt helpful in the long run) that
after following along and coding , and d/l the code the same error is
appearing.
For those who are familiar with the depot app, I''ve run into a problem after
fixing the cart to reflect quanitites. I worked through the intended error
messages but now have this appearing:
SyntaxError in StoreController#add_to_cart

Instant Rails 1.0 preview7 -- with Typo!
My apologies to all who downloaded preview6, it did not contain Rails 1.0 as
advertised -- I screwed up!
Preview7 does, in fact, contain Rails 1.0 and as a bonus, also includes Typo
2.6.0 as a preinstalled sample app. See the Getting Started page for
instructions on running Typo in Instant Rails:

I hope somebody can help me out here, since the issue has been killing
me for the last three days. Here is the issue:

But... but... but! Here is Instiki 0.11.0, and in this version Instiki is (finally!) moving to ActiveRecord backend
and (finally!) has the File Upload feature.
