Kickstart with multiple eth devices
Nope, it doesn't add it to the kernel boot parameters. That was the first
thing I checked.
As for the bootproto ... DUH. I didn't check that. :) That being solved,
yeah it's not bringing up the add-in card now when it boots up.

Kickstart with multiple eth devices
And after picking this back up this morning .... still no dice. I have now
blacklisted the one module that would enumerate the add-in ethernet port so
that is no longer an issue during the kickstart process, however the
following is now happening:
- kickstart completes successfully using the machine's physical port 2 (or
eth1) which is on a subnet with DHCP
- when the system reboots, it

Kickstart with multiple eth devices
Out of order meaning, it puts the additional ethernet card as eth0, with
the built-in ports as eth1 and eth2 respectively. WITHOUT the additional
card installed, it puts the built-in ports as eth0 and eth1, which is what
I want it to do. The additional card should be eth2, at least that's what I
want it to do.
Looking at persistent-net.rules, it always puts the additional card first,

Chan_bluetooth and AudioGateway phone [long]
Hello,
I start trying to use a USB dongle and a Bluetooth GSM phone to make GSM
call with asterisk using the BLT channel provided by the GSM phone.
Unfortunately I get a "Everyone is busy/congested at this time" whenever
I try to Dial("IAX2/****@****/2", "BLT/MotorolaLara/3474501***")
For sure I make some mistake in the configuration. Unfortunately I don't

Kickstart with multiple eth devices
Ok, when I run that, it creates a now "custom" 70-persistent-net.rules, but
the interfaces are still out of order, with the added one listed first, and
the built-ins 2nd and 3rd.

Dendrogram for a type unbalanced ANOVA
Hi-
I have about 20 groups for which I know the mean, variance, and number of
points per group. Is here an R function where I can plot (3 group example)
something like

That's what I figured, so I can remove it from the kickstart file, no
problem. The question then becomes, if kickstart doesn't configure it, what
happens when the system reboots after install? It won't know what to do
with that

multiple series on same graph
I'm trying to duplicate some graphs from powerpoint in R package. One
of things I'm having trouble with is I don't understand how to use the
points command to create different sets of points with different color
and marking attributes, and a legend on the graph. Where should I look?
I can't seem to find an example of two different sets of data on the
same graph.

X broken after up2date
Hello,
I've installed Centos 4.2 X86_64 on a PE2800 box with a Radeon 700 card and
a generic Dell monitor.
After running up2date before putting this box in production and make a
reboot I can't get into X anymore, my monitor shows a message "out of sync"
and that's it.
So I tried logging in via ssh to run 'setup' and to use the X setup program,
but it doesn't

axis 1 and axis 2 margin
Hi,
I am using axis() to plot axis 1 and axis 2. but now when I used
axis(side=1,....) and axis(side=2,.....), there's a big margin between these
two axis. does anybody have any idea about how to shrink the margin between
these two axis. basically, I want to move axis 1 left so that when I plot
axis 3, the margin between axis 1 and 2 and margin between axis 1 and 4 are
the same. like this

Discussion on time series analysis and the use and misuse of Differencing
How does the R module ARIMA account for unspecified deterministic structure
such as seasonal pulses, level shifts, local time trends and regular pulses
without needing to ask the user to intervene to specify this?
I have attached a Makradakis paper which hammers Box-Jenkins approach to
this problem of nonstationarity. I have also included a recent discussion
from stackexchange which you might
