solis driver
I use Centos 7.6.1810 in my server with nut-2.7.2-4.el7.x86_64 which contains Solis version 0.60 08/18/2005, my last version. My hardware related by upsc is Microsol Solis 1.5, the same used to develop the driver. It's an ancient nobreak, but i still works, by the way, an excellent hardware, using the third set of batteries. If you need more information, please let me know. Greeting, Silvino.

funfits (PR#137)
Hi, I spotted an inconsistency between the output of funfits under R, more specifically "nnreg", and the one obtained under S-plus. Notice the difference in the "Root MSE", "GVC" and "GVC cost=2". As a check mark, I am also including the data summaries, confirming that I was in fact using the same data set. Here's my output from both systems:

solis driver
Hello everyone, Maybe we should separate matters? Rollback to latest working version of Solis driver and create a separate driver for the brazilian APC? I have the decompiled Java source code from the official manufacturer's driver. Also, I have found some bugs introduced in the Solis driver due to APC's support, but had no time to fix it yet (although these bugs should not be

multiple persp plots
Hello, I would like to plot two superposed surfaces (original data, and smoothed models). Basically, I would like to create a usual persp plot with box, and then superpose a second surface (without box and axes) on the top plane of the box defined by the first graph. I don't know if it is clear :-( Is it possible to draw such a second surface in an existing persp plot in R? Another (related)

simple questions about R
A few simple questions from a novice R user. (I am running R version 0.62.3 Beta (Sept 8, 1998) under Windows NT.) 1) How do I time the execution of a function/program in R for Windows? Is there the equivalent of a dos.time function? 2) Can anyone send me details on the random number generator used by R (period, etc.). Also, why is it different from the SuperDuper RNG in S? 3) Will there

I tried to compile the Package MIXREG of Rolf Turner in S to R almost everything works OK but he has a function po = partial outer product as follows: po <- function(a,b) { array(apply(b,2,"*",a),dim=c(dim(a),dim(b)[2]))) } in S-Plus given x = ( 1 1 1 2 1 3 1 4
