Article on building i586 CentOS-5 kernel
Dear all, I was searching for a recent i586 for CentOS-5 in the CentOSPlus repository. Finding none, I decided to try my hands at building one. I have documented the changes made to the stock SRPM for building an i586 kernel on a temporary wiki page: * http://wiki.centos.org/TimothyLee/centos5_i586_patch These instructions have been successfully tested against the 2.6.18-164.10.1.el5

Some questions: Release Notes CentOS 5.6
Hello A couple of days ago, I did the Spanish translation for ReleaseNotes CentOS 5.6 and I have some questions Right now, in the Spanish version we are using nice icons for "Notes". Would you like the same in the English and other translated versions ? (I know that is not important, just looks nice ;-) ) On many places we mention packages names or file names. I suggest use

Proposed Wiki Edit - CentOS on i586
Hi all; Some of you may have seen on -devel that I've been playing with CentOS 5 on an i586 machine, and several people have displayed interest in the steps I've taken to compile a kernel and deploy it. I'm not quite sure where this would best go, so any guidance would be appreciated. I was guessing that http://wiki.centos.org/Projects/CentOS5PentiumSupport would be the best location

Hello List, Does anyone have examples of custom formatting of tables in odfweave? I know there is an example of this in the formatting.odt file that comes with the package, but running that through odfweave gives the following error: Error: chunk 13 (label=showTableStyles) Error in names(x) <- value : 'names' attribute [1] must be the same length as the vector [0] What I am really

"TipsAndTricks/ApacheVhostDir" changes for virtual host source files
I see someone has noticed my lack of suggestions or recommendations for placement of virtual host source files... Since there are many places to put virtual host source files, I had intentionally avoided the discussion due to the complexities and to keep the document restricted to a single topic. I had planned to create a separate document devoted to the discussion. Specifically, there
