Hi all, how do you update R on Debian lenny? I have tried to re-install r-base after adding deb http://<favorite-cran-mirror>/bin/linux/debian lenny-cran/ to my backport lists but it keeps installing R 2.7.1. well, I had the site and page and I had added the relevant backport but it didn't work and i keep installing R 2.7 . Don't know why; i probably missed something. #### May be you should add in your mail the file : /etc/apt/sources.list (I suppose there might be a typo, as IT addresses are long and booring, and AFAIK, correcting a typo one made is **very** difficult).
