XCP jumbo frames in vm
Hello all, Not sure if I am completely missing something but here goes. I have XCP 1.0 running without any issues. I have the mtu set on both the storage network, the corresponding PIF, and the VIF to 9000 and when displayed in ifconfig it shows that this is indeed true. I have several CentOs 5.6 VMs running in HVM mode (i.e. no xen kernel) which attach to the the storage network through these

[Bridge] Jumbo frames support?
The documentation says the bridge will work as far as all interfaces have the same MTU, but I also read on this and other mailing lists people having problems when using jumbo frames. What is the current status of jumbo frames support in the bridge? It could also be useful to have the same info on the wiki page. Thanks. -- Luca Lesinigo -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

[Bridge] Bridge not working with jumbo frames
Hi, I searched the mailman archives for this topic and there were some older messages that indicate that a large MTU should work, but it's not going too well here. I've got three systems (A, B, and C) with kernel 2.6.12.2; there are back-to-back gigabit connections between A & B and between B & C. Testing prior to bridging, the MTU is set to 9000 on every interface and a 100 MB

PV Driver
Hi, As of now I have been using xVM on Solaris 11 Express b151a. And I am looking for PV Driver for Windows 2008 and Windows 2008R2. So which open source PV driver can I use for these OSs? And I feel the the performance of PV drvier on Windows 2003 I downloaded from Sun site, this is early driver, is bad. The network performance is usually 20kbp/s. So I want to know how I can get better

PyGrub + ZFS: getbootstring. How it works?
I have NexentaCP2 (Opensolaris b104+). Parameters for the kernel: ''zfs-bootfs=syspool/rootfs-nmu-000,bootpath=/xpvd/xdf@0:a'' Pygrub returns: ''zfs-bootfs=syspool/30,bootpath=/xpvd/xdf@0:a'' Result: Boot with pygrub don''t work. Jumbo frames with domUs in bridging mode
Hi everyone, I have looked through the list archives and seen a few posts about jumbo frame support, but there is no definitive answer on whether or not it has been tested or is working for anyone. I tried using an MTU of 9000 in a domU and encountered some very interesting and not-so-great results. My machines used in this test are: * NFS (physical) * dom0 (physical) * domU (virtual)
