AFAIK, we may support exporting the whole usb controller to a domU in 
the near future when we finish driver domain implementation...

As Max says, the work for direct IO would allow a PCI device to be
accessed from a guest domain. You could use this to pass a USB
controller through. My hacky prototype for PV guests supports this,
but there are lots of remaining issues.

In parallel we''re working to add similar support for HVM guests, which
may be more usable earlier.

It''s a couple of months away from hitting OpenSolaris, at the
earliest. After that there will be some integration with the
management tools required in order that xVM Server can expose the
functionality.

Linux on Xen has (had?) some support for virtualised USB access, but
we haven''t seriously looked at adding that.
