libxl drivers for libvirt?
Hey Jim, I was wondering if you or someone on your team could give me an idea what the status of libxl support is in libvirt, particularly wrt various releases? I''m asking because I''m going to UDS next week to talk about the 13.04 release, and it would be good to get Xen 4.2 in; but that in part depends on whether there will be libvirt support for 4.2 in whatever version of

[ANNOUNCE] libxenlight
Hi all, I am pleased to announce "libxenlight", a new small and lightweight C library that refactors existing code in a coherent and easy to use API to interface to the hypervisor and xenstore to perform operations such as domain creation and destruction, suspend/restore and pci passthrough. The goals of libxenlight are: - be easy to use and to extend - provide a simple and robust API

[PATCH 1/3] libxenlight: Clean up logging arrangements
* Introduce new variants of the logging functions which include errno values (converted using strerror) in the messages passed to the application''s logging callback. * Use the new errno-including logging functions everywhere where appropriate. In general, xc_... functions return errno values or 0; xs_... functions return 0 or -1 (or some such) setting errno. * When

xend IPv6 support
Hi all, We are currently testing Xen in a IPv6 environment and noticed that xend does not support migration (and probably other xend services too) for IPv6 setups. As far as I see this is the case for xen 3.4 and 4.0. Is there any plans to add IPv6 support in the future? [PATCH] xl: make libxl_uuid2string internal to libxenlight
libxenlight exports a function libxl_uuid2string which is used internally in several places but has one external caller in xl. The function mainly implements policy so should not be part of the libxenlight API. The extent to which it can be considered mechanism it is not a xen mechanism since UUID''s are not a concept exlusive to xen. The one caller in xl seems to be an
