[pvops-dom0]Let PV ops guest could handle Machine Check trap
Hi, Jeremy and all
This small patch lets pv ops guest handle machine check trap. When non
fatal mce error happens, xen will inject vMCE# to the impacted pv ops guest.
This patch allows pv ops guest could receive machine check trap and enter
its own machine check handler.
Thanks & Regards,
Criping

can dom0 modify Shadow PT of HVM domU?
Hi all,
Can Xen hypervisor modify HVM domU's Shadow page table, under the dom0's context, like trapped from dom0's hypercall?
I think it have to call 2 functions at least: guest_walk_tables() and flush_tlb_all(). Can these 2 functions called in dom0's context?
In my test, if hypervisor tries to modify HVM's shadow page table, it will bring down the whole system. I am not

[Doc] writeup for error handling usage in XEN
Hi, all
Those days, we spent some efforts to check severe error handling (panic, BUG_ON, BUG, ASSERT) in XEN. We have several round internal discussions as well as several mail threads with Keir. Below is the discussion writeup.
If agreed, after review, we want to place it in XEN document folder or XEN wiki since we think it might be helpful to developers.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Following 7 patches are for PCIE AER (Advanced Error Reporting) support for XEN.

FW: [patch 0/4]Enable CMCI (Corrected Machine Check Error Interrupt) for Intel CPUs
Hi, All
Following 4 patches are for enabling CMCI of Intel CPUs in XEN.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patch 1: remove_intel_mce_old.patch is to remove old p4/p6 files. The reason is that machine check architecture for Intel families including p4/p6/latest are similar. We need not keep duplicated codes.
Patch 2: change_stop_machine_run.patch changes

[Patch 4/4]: Xend interface for HVM S3
- extend "xm resume <domid>" to be able to S3 resume HVM domain.
- when user issue "xm resume" command for HVM domain, xend will use
xc lib API to call HVMOP_s3_resume hypercall.
Note: it may not appropriate use xm resume for HVM s3, since xm resume
is originally designed for save/restor purpose. It will be fine that

Why using hypercall_page ?
Hello,
I am studing Xen hypercall now. I found that hypercall is invoked via
hypercall_page, which is only filled with (in
no-hypervisor-kernel-mode ):
mov $i, %eax
int $0x82
ret
Why not invoked the hypercall directly by "int $0x82" ? What''s the
advantage of using hypercall_page?
Thanks,
Wu

Netcard functions with prio
Hi there
I have followed your disc. concerning bandwith and prio of port-traffic.
What happens to for example with "ping" time, and other ports very much used
for diff. pleasures, if for example you prio http and smtp?
Is there any technics by the way, that netcards use when low prio-traffic
gets congested, I mean technics like "back-pressure" (switch-technics I
suppose)?

Bonding and network cards
Hi,
I have been playing this weekend with bonding on PCI netcards and found
that all of netcards I have, but old 3com, do not support MII. So
bonding is not going to happen with them. Do you have some pci netcards
supporting MII successfully running on bonging?
Thanks,
David Hrb??

Great thanks for R project and you contribution.
I am Liping Liu, a beginner of R. Recently, I use R much. I wish you could
improve the manual by making it search engine friendly.
The "Introduction to R" page is too long. I am often redirected to this page

Thanks, now I started getting messages from the list.
As you advised, I renamed the mib file NETCARD.mib to Tripplite and ran
command
./gen-snmp-subdriver.sh -H 10.200.254.39 -c public -n Tripplite
Here is what it says:
