RadRails
Anyone using RadRails here? How is it if so? I am trying to use it and it opens fine on my win2000 box at work, but I have XP pro at home here and it keeps telling me I need the javaw.exe in the bin file in the radrails folder in my desktop. If anyone knows why this is it would be appreciated. I''m a noob for sure. Thanks, J

Better tools for authoring the view
I''m hand editing my .css and .rhtml files using SciTE and hitting refresh in my browser to see the results - its slow going. What tools are people using to author their .css and .rhtml files? Anything but Aptana
Not trying to get into a "What''s a good IDE" here, BUT....On Windows....RadRails never cut it. Under Aptana, it''s a terrible joke, and I''m sick of losing so much time waiting not only for this thing to initialize, but the hanging and crashing I go through is killing me. Please, someone....point me to a decent, lightweight IDE. All i want is syntax coloring.

Control Characters
I am attempting a text editor using wxRuby. I''m having character issues. Strings are not binary-safe. Some characters are not allowed. - newline / line feed (\n), tab (\t) are displayed - carraige return (\r) is stripped - Other control characters and high-ascii cause control values to become empty. Affected controls include: Wx::TextCtrl, Wx::StaticText, Wx::Clipboard, et al. Most

wxRIDE Finally Available
Hello fellow wxRuby users, Well, after a long period in which I originally announced that I was creating an IDE, I have finally become satisfied enough to release a SVN Version of wxRIDE. I started the project out, and in cases where I couldn''t launch the application again, I utilized SciTE (Which uses Scintilla, same as wxRIDE), outside of that initial part, and subsequent failures to

IDE recommendations?
I was wondering if there are any IDEs out there that has autocomplete features for win32. It would be perfect if it could do something akin to what DHH is doing on the screencast hosted on the rails website. http://media.rubyonrails.org/video/rails_take2_with_sound.mov Cheers -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

RadRails question
I do apologize for asking this question here, but it seemed like the appropriate place: I keep trying to move from jEdit to RadRails for my ruby/rails development but there are a few things holding me back. I''m wondering if anybody could tell me whether these features are truly missing, or if I''m just missing how to make them work. Firstly, it doesn''t truly auto

code snippets
I use jedit as my ruby editor and I recently decided to give radrails a try so I can take advantage of the cvs/subversion integration plugins. I''m used to using code snippets in jedit so I can quickly insert common code structures without having to type them in by hand each and every time - much like the feature seen in TextMate. Now, I''ve searched high and low in the settings
