Problem with rules being 'ignored'
Hey there, sorry to bug you,
I've ran into a little problem conscerning a logcheck-rule I just wrote.
I use logcheck and logcheck-database on Debian Etch. When logcheck
reports me something I don't want it to, I normally write a rule to
match that logentry and put it in a file called my_rules in
/etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/ ... that worked perfectly fine. Until
that rule:

Bonding and network cards
Hi,
I have been playing this weekend with bonding on PCI netcards and found
that all of netcards I have, but old 3com, do not support MII. So
bonding is not going to happen with them. Do you have some pci netcards
supporting MII successfully running on bonging?
Thanks,
David Hrb??

Thanks, now I started getting messages from the list.
As you advised, I renamed the mib file NETCARD.mib to Tripplite and ran
command
./gen-snmp-subdriver.sh -H 10.200.254.39 -c public -n Tripplite
Here is what it says:

memory leak bug under ubuntu gutsy w/ nvidia
hi there,
a number of users of ubuntu gutsy with nvidia cards are experiencing a
serious memory leak under compiz. This leak essentially renders compiz
unusable for us. Gutsy ships with a compiz versioned at 0.6.0
+git20071008 , which I imagine isn't that different from the current
compiz, and with the current 100.14.19 nvidia driver running under a
2.6.22 kernel. I'm just wondering

Dependency between packages for Windows-binaries
Hi,
I have already asked a similar question without response
(https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2009-June/200300.html) so I am
here reformulating in the hope that someone is able to help. If
something is unclear, please ask.
I am working on the development of two packages, pkg1 and pkg2 (based on
work in two different projects). pkg1 is quite generic, pkg2 tries to

Conditional dependency between packages
Hi,
I have already asked a similar question twice without response on the
r-help list https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2009-June/200300.html
but this list might be more appropriate. If there is a particular reason
for the lacking answers (unclear, missing information, the solution is
obvious to everyone except me, etc), I would like to know. The
description below is generalized, but I

Problems with conditional importFrom in NAMESPACE
Hi,
I am currently involved in the development of two R-packages, pkg1 and
pkg2. They should not be dependent on each other, as most users will
only be interested in one of them. Still, I want pkg2 to provide one
extra S3 method for three functions (fun1-3) in pkg1 for objects of a
class defined in pkg2 (class2), for those users who actually have both
packages installed.
I think this
