OT: AMD CPU actual speed....
I know this is a bit OT, but the subject of CPU speed came up here and I was (and have been for some time) curious: What is the actual speed of an AMD CPU? E.g., I have a Athlon 64 X2 "4200+" but my /proc/cpuinfo shows 1005.164 MHz for the two cores. What do those mean? Is there a reference for this (huge) discrepancy? Also, is there a way (and what) to tell what the actuall running

Invalid argument with version 3.1.3
We reently upgraded our rsync client from Freebsd 10.2 to 11.2 which upgraded our rsync from 3.0.6 protocol version 30 to 3.1.3 protocol version 31. The server remains Freebsd 11.1 with rsync 3.1.2 protocol version 31. Now we get numerous messages like this: rsync: readlink_stat("/disk/homedirs/nber/bstevens/public_html/old/test/press reaction/Foreign

setsockopt returning Invalid argument
I have built samba 3.0.4 on Solaris 9 and it appeared to compile and build OK. It starts up and runs with a PDC smb.conf. It becomes the brows master for the domain and generally seems to look OK. However, when I try to join a PC into the domain I get "Invalid argument" logged by set_socket_options() in lib/util_sock.c when trying to set TCP_NODELAY and SO_KEEPALIVE. This is

Live Migration failes with Failed to pin batch of xxx page tables (22 = Invalid argument): Internal error
Hi folks, I have setup Xen 4.1.2 on CentOS 6. It is running fine so far, but live migration does not work. While the source host works on the "xm migrate -l ..." command, I can see the VM on the target host in paused state in "xm list", but after a while it vanishes while the xm command on the source machine returns with return code 130. Both machines have identical
