Can't create subfolders when activating namespaces, e.g. private/public
Hi, i am using hardy dovecot, 1.0.10. If i enable namespaces (the private and a public one) i am unable to create new subfolders in my private namespace, only top level folders works. There is nothing in the log about that error even if i set mail_debug = yes. If i comment out everything (no namespaces at all, implicit private one), it works again. Any hints whats going wrong, why is my client

S3 (Suspend to Disk) with XEN
Hi All, I have a 5.4 box and testing xen 3.4 on kernel-xen-2.6.18-164.6.1.el5. As you know, there are no enough configuration to do "Suspend to Disk" of the .config of the kernel-xen-2.6.18-164.6.1.el5. # Power management options (ACPI, APM) # CONFIG_PM=y Then, I tied to get the kernel-2.6.18-164.6.1.el5.src.rpm, installed that. #pwd

Creating your own ACPI events to suspend?
I've been trying to get this laptop I just got to suspend. It's not working. I saw this bug report... http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=723 And I'm wondering if someone could point me in the direction of creating your own events to suspend the laptop. I've never done this before. Is it even worth it? Does Linux hibernate well? Preston

[PATCH] linux, S3: dom0 doesn''t need save ioapic state
Dom0 doesn''t need to save/restore ioapic state across S3 suspend/resume, as Xen already does it. The more important is to avoid warnings on some platforms which may have uninitialized RTEs to be weird value (like smi mode) but masked. When dom0 saves those entries and then write back later, it''s easy to trigger Xen''s sanity check from ioapic_guest_write. Signed-off-by

[PATCH] vtd: fix Dom0 S3 when VT-d is enabled.
Now if VT-d is enabled, when Dom0 does S3, Xen doesn''t suspend/resume the IOMMU states. The patch adds the missing invocations of iommu_suspend()/iommu_resume() and makes some nesessary fixes: 1) In iommu_set_root_entry(), we should not re-allocate the root-entry when Xen returns from S3; 2) Define the array iommu_state correctly (u8 -> u32); 3) Only save/restore the necessary IOMMU

Do we need ACPI/APIC/NUMA/Schedule in dom0 ?
Hello all, My machine is a dual xeon x5520 server with NUMA support. I have some question about xen dom0 kernel. Since xen hypervisor has provided vcpu schedule, do we need to compile the following feature in dom0 kernel? - Tickless System (Dynamic Ticks) - High Resolution Timer Support - AMD IOMMU support - SMT (Hyperthreading) scheduler support - Multi-core scheduler suppor

[Fwd: Re: [RFC][PATCH] allow dom0 to power off machine using ACPI on shutdown.]
Ewan, Keir seems to think this patch is OK. I tested it on an Intellistation A Pro for x86_64 and it works for me. I think it is low risk because it''s executed at the end of the shutdown process. Please apply. http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2006-04/msg00223.html _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list

[PATCH] Dom0-kernel: Fix buggy mask_base in saving/restoring MSI-X table during S3
Hi, Keir, Jan, This patch is a bugfix pointed by Jan. Fix mask_base(actually MSI-X table base, copy name from native) to be a virtual address rather than a physical address. And remove wrong printk in pci_disable_msix. Jan, the error message you saw is wrong output from kernel''s MSI code. Really sorry for my dirty code there. Could you please review the patch and give me feedback?
