Unable to connect to Xend. Connection refused
Hi all, after an emerge I wasn''t able to run xen correctly. Everytime I try the command xm list, I receive the error: Error: Unable to connect to xend: Connection refused. Is xend running? Inspecting /var/log/xen/xend.log i found that xend doesn''t find something at line 1 column 0. But I don''t know what is it. I tried with kernel 2.6.16.52 and with 2.6.20-r4 but

Cannot start Xend
Hi All, I really could do with any pointers people might have as to the reason for this error. The server was working fine but this appeared after a reboot. The HTTP part in xend-config.sxp is disabled already. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob # service xend start Starting xend: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/sbin/xend", line 44, in ? from

Problems with installing Xen 3.1.3 from source code.
Hi, I am trying to install Xen 3.1.3 from the source code. The machine on which I would like to install it doesn''t have access to the Internet. So I did a "make world" on a different machine, copied the files to where I actually wanted to install Xen and then re-built and installed it. However, when I boot into the new kernel and try to execute "xm" or

Short:     Which package do I need to install to get "auto/I18N/Langinfo/autosplit.ix"? Long: The problem I have was discussed almost a year ago (see this thread), but the resolution was not complete... I''m using Mark Johnson''s slim.py script (package list below), against repo=http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev, followed by `pkg install xvm-gui` and `svcadm enable
