Login incorrect problem (SUSE-packaged Xen)
Hello, I am a newbie of Xen and just started with SUSE9.3-packaged Xen.
The packaged document README.SuSE and script mk-xen-resucue-img.sh did me a
great help, I could run sample ttylinux-xen and rescue-based Suse with xen.
Now I''m trying YaST dirinstall. I Created a root FS image and installed a
"minimal system required" using YaST . This domain booted and login console

Solved:Login incorrect problem(SUSE-packaged Xen)
Sorry, I made a mistake to re-install my SUSE without backing-up the
original entry of this topic in my mailbox. But please don''t mind, that
previous mailbox itself had been very new and contained only a few mail
data. Anyway I''m sorry I had to start a new thread.
Hi, Okamoto-san,
Thank you very much! I could log in SUSE runnning in unprivileged domain
by your advice.

Running Fedora Core 5 on top of SUSE 10.1
Noniko,
I saw your posting titled "SUSE10.1 has a nice Xen package again" and I was wondering if you had found any documentation on how to run Fedora Core 5 on top of SUSE10.1. Did you build the Fedora environment on a separate Fedora machine and then brought it over to the SUSE machine or did you find the Fedora tools (Yum/Anaconda) on SUSE?
Many thanks in advance.

RE: Error Creating Domain:vbd:Segment phy:/dev/hda3 isin writable use
I''ve seen this happen before, not sure why. I changed ''phy:'' to ''file:'' and it worked. I later rebooted and ''phy:'' worked again. So you might try ''file:'' rather than ''phy:''.

Re: ttylinux and Error creating domain: vbd: Segment not found - new
Hello,
Thnks;
You are absolutely right.I changed it to point to
file:/root/ttylinux/ttylinux-xen , unmounted mnt
and had succeeded to create and log in to the new created domain.
Silly of me.

Problem booting Suse Linux VM "INIT: cannot execute "/etc/init.d/boot""
Hi Folks,
I create a file backed vbd to boot a guest VM as described in the Xen''s user
manual in section ''Using File-backed VBDs". The Dom0 and the VBD contain
Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10 (X86_64). I am not able to boot the guest
VM. During the boot process the INIT process generates an error saying

I got the virtual xen network card show up in yast.
However, when I configured it, yast came up with an

Samba access of FAT32 mounted file system on FreeBSD
Hi,
Firstly background -

Two problems with DomU reboot (cmdline, duplicate domains)
Hi,
just upgraded my testsystem to 3.0.4 (using the provided source rpm,
xen-3.0.4.1-1.src.rpm, rebuilt it to run on non-PXE but no changes besides
that, and it doesn''t look like the 3.0.4-testing HG has major differences
so far?) and I have two problems with rebooting domains (xm reboot, or
reboot from inside the domain).
1) the kernel-commandline keeps growing. On the first boot

How does this setting work? I was hoping to use it to make connections predictable. I have vncunused = 1 as well, but xen never starts the server on the expected port (dom-u id).
Thanks!
