When playing WoW through Wine (1.3.6) my video settings are limited because some of them require "2G or more CPU memory". Another computer in the house can play in Windows with those settings maxed out on a graphics card that only has 1G built in, so the setting doesn't mean graphics memory. My computer has 5G of ram (32 bit PAE kernel) so it's not that. So what is CPU

So I used to use the winepulse patch for wine. (Yes I like pulse). But since 1.3.25+ uses mmdevapi for audio, that patch no longer works. That author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says audio failed. I can't seem to get Age of Empires II to run after successful installation. I have created a new WINEPREFIX directory and installed it there and tried first without directx and with it. It is gold on the appdb so I'm a bit surprised. OS is Ubuntu 8.10 and I have tried with wine 1.1.15, 1.1.14 and 1.01. Each time it dumps the memory. Thanks for any help.

hi i updated msi installer to v3 (Windows ? Installer. V 3.01.4000.1823) but after that i cant install any msi package every time i try it just brings msi command line option in a window and doesnt install any thing , it just like i typed just 'wine msiexec' how can i fix this? should i revert back to older version of msiinstaller? how?
