Hi, Is there a mean to automatically choose one version of the 'rbind' function ? By default, R chose the 'rbind' from {base}, i would lke to use the one from {IRanges}... Samba + AD + NIS
Hello, I use UNIX/Linux machines, which are in a NIS domain and samba version 2.x in NT4 domain. The rights applied to the files systems are those of the NIS and the rights on the shares are those of NT4 domain. I wish to obtain the same result with Samba3 integrated into Active Directory. I succeeded has to integrate it into the AD with samba+winbind+MIT Kerberos 5. But not with NIS

I had a look on biops and EBImage (Bioconductor) but they are not automatic... Did you already use/know a such package ? Two Questions
One is there any way to run a server side script every time a user logs in and logs out. I've tried using the pre and post execs in netlogon, but it get's run multiple times. I was wondering if anyone knew of a better way. Basically I want to log username & machine name into a database, to help take computer lab usage. Personally, I use Emacs with ESS, It permits to : - open more than one R session - split the emacs editor as many part as you want. - use a lot of keybindings. ... It sounds like we _might_ have Vorbis capable players in the near future! :) Any more word on support from iRiver? web interface for R script??
Dear All, I requiered your feedbacks about a web interface for R scripts. I already tested RGG ( but it's not web). and two of the CRAN list : Rserve & Rpad. However, Rpad requieres some knowledge in Javascript, php etc... and with Rserve I have to create a web interface entirely. Rwui from the cran list seems attractive. Did you ever test this one ? Other suggestions are welcomed too
