[RFC/PATCH 00/15] kvm on big iron
This patch series introduces a backend for kvm to run on IBM System z machines that uses the mainframe's sie virtualization capability. This work runs 64bit guests on z800/z890/z900/z990/z9/z10 class machines with a 64bit linux host. Userspace will follow once we're done brushing it over. The patch queue consists of the following patches, which can be applied in sequence on top of kvm.git

[HVM][SVM][PATCH][2/2] Delay ExtInt Injection
Patch 2/2 - Add flag to indicate that an exception event needs injecting, and to delay the ext interrupt injection. Remove unnecessary check of RFLAGS.IF for ExtInt injection. Applies cleanly to xen-unstable c/s 11831. Please apply to xen-unstable.hg. We would also want this patch to be in a 3.0.3-1 base whenever that is branched. kernel parm question: MPS? pcie_bus_safe
I'm fighting a long-standing problem: we've got a Dell PE R720 with a BT878 card in it, running four surveillance cameras (it's a secure room). Since I put the card in, within 20-30 min, the box's little LCD screen goes orange, and complains "bus error" on the slot the card's in; I've moved it to different slot, no joy. Note that the same card in an older Penguin

listen parm questions
Q1: My imap server has 4 interfaces, but only one is used for imap traffic. Can I do this: listen = 10.20.30.40:10143 (when imap.mycollege.edu is 10.20.30.40) Or is there even any benefit to doing this? Q2: Can I specify more than one port....during test eval, I've had the IT dept using port 1043 for listen....which I will, of course, change to 143 when DC goes production. So my

"parm" argument in confint.multinom () nnet package
Dear R users, The nnet package includes the multinom method for the confint function. The R Help file (?confint) for the generic function in the stats package and the help files for the glm and nls methods in the MASS package indicate that one can use the "parm" argument as "a specification of which parameters are to be given confidence intervals, either a vector of numbers or

I am trying to use the lnam autocorrelation model from the SNA package. I have it running for smaller adjacency matrices (<1,500) it works just fine but when my matrices are bigger 4000+. Setting CDROM parms
My apologies in advance for asking such an elementary question. I called myself searching the Installation Guide and Deployment Guide, with no success. The situation is that I bought a Lite-On ATAPI iHAP122 that will not burn DVDs unless I use hdparm to turn dma off. I bought that drive because it was a rare beige drive. Until I can find a decent DVD burner and/or get a Windows machine put

Config questionsabout various login parms
I'm currently runing UW-IMAP (compiled vanilla) with procmail and mbox and am making my usual careful crawl (at turtle speed) through figuring out DC config. Some questions: a) I have something like 3-4 root imapd sessions so I presume that the default *login_processes_count* = 3 will be OK. I'm less clear about login_max_processes_count and login_max_connections = 256. A common

Bug: noveau DATA_ERROR / CACHE_ERROR on Quadro NVS 290
Hi, there! Every once in a while / about once a day I have nouveau for a Quadro NVS 290 failing in my system from about kernel 3.10...up to now 3.14, so I finally decided to report this bug as it gets really annoying. After the bug appears, there are some (one per DATA_ERROR line) small 20x20 to 40x40 pixel sized odd shaped white block artefacts stuck on my (dual monitor) desktop. After a restart

I'm confused about my namespace parms
Hi, I'm new to the list and to dovecot. I'm having a strange situation that provides no errors, so I'm having a little problem diagnosing what's going on. I've been running a Centos 3 mail server with sendmail for our company for quite a few years. I finally got approval for new servers this year and put Centos 6.2 on it. I'm sticking with sendmail, but that's not
