Hello,
I''ve tried just some minutes ago to download the sourcecode of lustre from

An error occurred while processing your request.
Reference #50.663007d9.1206002944.16ba5fe1

lustre quota problems
Hello,
I''ve several problems with quota on our testcluster:
When I set the quota for a person to a given value (e.g. the values which
are provided in the operations manual), I''m able to write exact the amount
which is set with setquota.
But when I delete the files(file) I''m not able to use this space again.
Here is what I''ve done in detail:

Hi everyone!
I'm getting mad: On a running debian-edu/skolelinux 3 with samba

can't get them back. Tried smbclient
and got:

Resolve Domain
Dear list,
Samba allows our school to use on non-free operation systems on work
stations. Or should I rather put it this way: In combination with
Debian-Edu, Samba allows us to use free operations systems on servers
and work stations despite the fact that some colleagues stick to
Windows...
Now, we observe a problem that still needs to be examined further on:
If the server has been running

passwd-file and MySQL
Speaking about multiple DB ...
A my customer has a server (CentOS 6.x, dovecot 2.0.x, postfix,
Squirrel+RoundCube with vacation and password plug-in), with about 3.000
users (about 200 different domains), all defined as system users and home
as /home/mail/%user%
The system works fine. Its only additional interest is authenticating
users like user at domain.tld / password (maintaining also

Samba: Domain "Skolelinux" not available if IP beyond 10.0.2.239
Dear list,
our Debian Edu system used to be stable like a rock.
After holidays, I encountered an issue as follows:
The last 8 of 20 clients in our cabinet cannot log in to samba,
their message is "domain not available".
I checked cables and switches - and IPs (from 2nd boot
partition running Debian Edu without problem), nothing
that differs from other machines.
It stroke me that all

Windows 2000/2003 shares -> danish character problem
Hallo,
I know this problem is marked as solved, but here is another solution, a
solution which makes it possible still to use smbfs.
I have been working on a project connecting Skolelinux ltsp-server to a
windows 2000 server in norwegian secondary school and came across the same
problem ( that is one of the teachers and his students in my school did
first).
Searching the net I found the

SASL auth and proxy
Hello, I'm finding a way to have a pool of smtp-auth servers in front
of my actuals servers to permit relay to our customers. Now users sends
emails connecting to the right IP via mail.domain.tld, with
authentication. Every server has it's own user database in mysql.
I'd like to have a pool of server (with round robin, ideally with
postfix + sasl + dovecot) that authenticate the

Convert to DBox
I am thinking of trying out dbox format. I am currently using maildir.
Is it possible for me to switch just one user account to dbox while
keeping all of my other users on maildir? If so, how would I go about
doing that?
Here is a copy of my dovecot -n:
# 1.2.5: /usr/local/etc/dovecot.conf
# OS: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 x86_64 Debian squeeze/sid ext3

dovecot 2 variables
Hi,
I am trying to use separate configurations for ldap authentication thus
providing users
with the ability to only use username without domain part. Now according to
documentation this should be possible
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/AuthDatabase/PasswdFile
but I keep getting error in my dovecot.log like this
auth: Error: Can't open configuration file

Two passwords: One for Dovecot IMAP and One for Dovecot SASL? Is it possible?
Greetings,
Can Dovecot can handle separate authentication for receiving mail
(IMAPS) and sending mail (SMTPS)? In the past, we used Dovecot IMAP
for the receiving part and Cyrus SASL for the sending part. This
allowed us to use two passwords with mail. Cyrus has grown too old
and isn't useful anymore. Can Dovecot give us this functionality:
two passwords, one for IMAP

mixture of virtual and plain users
Hi,
I have a mail server (postfix/dovecot) running so far with normal
local /etc/passwd users for domain example.com.
mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir
passdb pam {
}
userdb passwd {
}
Is it possible to add virtual domains/users to my setup
without changing example.com to a virtual domain?
I can do the postfix part with

RFE: dnsbl-support for dovecot
after having my own dnsbl feeded by a honeypot and even
mod_security supports it for webservers i think dovecot
sould support the same to prevent dictionary attacks from
known bad hosts, in our case that blacklist is 100%
trustable and blocks before SMTP-Auth while normal RBL's
are after SASL
i admit that i am not a C/C++-programmer, but i think
doing the DNS request and in case it has a
