I will try to port nss_wins to glibc.
I made some changes to smb.conf and follow the tests
described in Samba diagnosis
(www.samba.org/samba/docs/diagnosis.html)

How to handle dynamically columned tables in rails
I want to build an application that lets me (the end user accessing a
web page) design a simple list with columns and add records. E.g., if
the end user says I want a table that has a list of songs, he can create
a list (title, date, artist, label) and then make another list of, e.g.,
books on his bookshelf with the necessary columns (title, author,
pub_date, shelf).
The end user

I'm setting up samba on our webserver here, and are experiencing problems

When I run this command:

Simplify formula for heterogeneity
Dear R-ians,
I'm looking for a computational simplified formula to calculate a
measure for heterogeneity (let's say H ):
H = sqrt [ (Si (Sj (Xi - Xj)?? ) ) /n ]
where:
sqrt = square root
Si = summation over i (= 0 to n)
Sj = summation over j (= 0 to n)
Xi = element of X with index i
Xj = element of X with index j
I can simplify the formula to:
H = sqrt [ ( 2 * n * Si (Xi) - 2 Si (Sj

Cisco 3620 PRI and Asterisk
Hi All:
I have a Cisco3620 with a proper T1/PRI card installed with asterisk
running on the same LAN. Since I have lit up the line, I can dial out
and make calls to regular lands lines. However when a call comes back
in it rings the destination phone once and disconnects.
Here is an error from my router

ip route - TOS argument does not allways work
hi all,
I need different routes for packets with different TOS values, and tried
to do this with ip. I noticed that ip does not recognice all possible
values for the TOS byte, even when I enter them in
/etc/iproute/rt_dsfield.
to demonstrate this, I added prohibit rules for different marked packets
and tried if the packets are dropped when I try to "ping -Q tosvalue
