dovecot-antispam: Failed to read mail beginning, Next message unexpectedly lost
Hello, I'm trying to configure the dovecot-antispam plugin. Now I've run into a problem: whenever I try to move/copy a message in/from the spam mailbox, Thunderbird (and also Sylpheed, haven't tried anything else) says: The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Failed to read mail beginning. and in the logs I get: dovecot: Aug 07 10:41:23 Error:

two assertion failures
Hello! I was able to overcome the earlier-reported problems (of dovecot treating the standard mailboxes in /var/mail/ as directories) by specifying mail_location (continuing to use the 0.99-era dovecot.conf did not work). Then I started seeing assertion-failures like: file istream-raw-mbox.c: line 499 (istream_raw_mbox_get_body_size): assertion failed: (rstream->mail_size != (uoff_t)-1)

Dovecot 1.0-test45 indexing issues
We're currently on dovecot 0.99.10 with a few modifications (including one very nasty hack for the blank line at the beginning of the mailbox bug). We're using mbox all around. Everything works smoothly but we still ocasionally get corrupt mailboxes and indexes that need to be wiped out. I setup 1.0-test45 on one of our mailservers to start testing it and ran into a few issues. The

S4 classes and methods with optional arguments
Hi, i have used S4 classes to implement a unified access to random number generators (package rstream on CRAN). I have used a construct to allow optional arguments: if(!isGeneric("rstream.sample")) setGeneric("rstream.sample", function(stream,...) standardGeneric("rstream.sample")) setMethod("rstream.sample",

[PATCH] quota-status: allow different action for messages that are too large (over maximum quota)
This proposed patch to quota-status allows the administrator to return different actions for messages that (a) cannot currently fit in the quota (because there's not enough free space) and (b) are over the maximum quota limit (and could not even be delivered if the mailbox was empty). Configuration works like this: plugin { quota_status_overquota = DEFER_IF_PERMIT 4.2.2 Mailbox full

mbox-sync-update.c error
Hi, I think the problem is in Dovecot. I'm using both Evolution and Thunderbird on a Gentoo box. One of my folders keeps locking up and the clients can't retrieve the messages. The situation appears to be triggered by trying to move a message into that folder. Deleting the index files (under /var/log/dovecot/xxx/) solves the problem (temporarily). I get these error messages in the

getNativeSymbolInfo("user_unif_rand") returns different results on windows and linux
Hi, When loading a package that provides the user-supplied RNG hook user_unif_rand, calling getNativeSymbolInfo("user_unif_rand") returns informations about the loaded symbol. I am using this to identify which package currently provides the RNG hook. The results are the same on windows and linux if only one library provides the hook. If one loads a second package that provides this

[PATCH v3 07/15] secboot: generate HS BL descriptor in hook
Use the HS hook to completely generate the HS BL descriptor, similarly to what is done in the LS hook, instead of (arbitrarily) using the acr_v1 format as an intermediate. This allows us to make the bootloader descriptor structures private to each implementation, resulting in a cleaner an more consistent design.
