cascaded HTB urgent question
Hi there,
I have a question with regards to cascading multiple HTB qdiscs. Assume
that I want to build the following hierarchy:
(qdisc htb 1:0) -> (class htb 1:1) -> (qdisc htb 2:0) -> (class htb 2:1)
-> (class htb 2:2)
I want to attache aggregate u32 filters at 1:0 for supernets, then at
2:0 (and 3:0, 4:0, etc), I attach the more specific u32 filters for say

Ogg container format question
I've heard, that the ogg container format makes it easier to stream
vorbis and other formats, but why is that better, than streaming mp3?
Also, what are the other adventages?
BTW, would the vorbis files work without the ogg container format?

external call to v2v (vdsm integration)
Hi,
I have several question regarding error handling when we call v2v from vdsm:
1. do you have return code values table?
2. how can vdsm determine if operations success/fail assuming vdsm crushed or
the service restarted.
3. what is the best strategy to cancel blocked I/O calls?
Thanks,
Shahar.

How to change parameters of Trellis-like graphs
Dear R-lists
I have just upgraded the version 1.5.1 from 1.4.1 in my laptop PC,
because, I have to prepare graphs by using the grid and lattice packages.
I tried it with 1.4.1, but I could not it.
After upgrade to 1.5.1, I have finished it.
Next, I tried to modify some graphs with as follows:
#
# setting color for graph
#
library(grid)
library(lattice)
background <- trellis.par.get()

Some questions about hfsc
I have been looking at the hfsc for some time as a replacement or at a
class that can be used like htb. But I seem to have run into a problem.
With htb classes it is easy to make three or more levels of priority for a
connection. All you need to do is to make classes and give them different
prio levels. But it seems like you can only define a real-time bandwidth
and a link sharing bandwidth.

v1.1 status and benchmarks
v1.1 plans have changed a bit. I'll release v1.1.alpha1 soon and hope to
have a stable v1.1 in a month or two. The rest of the features that
didn't make it into v1.1 will go to v1.2. I'll write more about this
when v1.1 alpha is released.
I also did a bit of benchmarking. v1.1's performance improvements are
looking pretty great, it seems to be twice as fast as v1.0.

Courier->dovecot migration script
HI All,
We have the latest Dovecot 1.1.6 running and I need to migrate some
POP3 users over from Courier to Dovecot and would need to convert the
courierpop3dsizelist to maintain the UIDs.
I just need to confirm that the script
(http://www.dovecot.org/tools/courier-dovecot-migrate.pl) only works
for Dovecot v1.0 and not for v1.1?
As the dovecout-uidlist file that is created (by the script) is not

Finally the first v1.1 release candidate. Please test so we can have a
fully stable v1.1.0 release. v1.1.betas are already running in a few
large installations, so I don't expect there to be many bugs left.
There are no release critical bugs left and no known crash bugs.

v1.1 plans
I think I won't do any actual releases until it's mostly feature
complete. Then maybe v1.1.alpha1 or v1.1.beta1. So if you want to test
it before then, use CVS or the nightly snapshots.
I'm planning on keeping v1.1 almost completely compatible with v1.0.
There could be some minor configuration file changes, but for most
people v1.0's dovecot.conf should work with v1.1.
I want to

Time to lock down v1.1?
Isn't it about time to lock down added functionality to v1.1 and fix
the remaining bugs?
There has been a significant amount of traffic on the cvs list, the irc
and other channels with folks spending time adding new functionality to
Head. Think its time to lock it down, fix the bugs that have been introduced,
and get to "something" that the _majority_ can agree to call v1.1 Stable

heal info OK but statistics not working
1) one peer, out of four, got separated from the network,
from the rest of the cluster.
2) that unavailable(while it was unavailable) peer got
detached with "gluster peer detach" command which succeeded,
so now cluster comprise of three peers
3) Self-heal daemon (for some reason) does not start(with an
attempt to restart glusted) on the peer which probed that
fourth peer.
4) fourth
