Korean Translation - Anaconda Slides

Hi,
Well, it seems like my gnome terminal can't interpret Korean
translations very well. Or maybe it can and I don't know how to confirm
it ? I tried the following encoding characters in the gnome terminal:
Current Local (UTF-8)
Korean (EUC-KR)
Korean (UHC)
Korean (JOHAB)
and all I can see are question marks inside black rhombus. That

Hi Guys,
Our Anaconda Slide rendering environment is near to be functional, so
I'm wondering if you'd like to add new slides and if translators could
take a look at the translations we have now ?
Actually we have two Slide designs to choose from:
1. The common Title, Content slides [1].
2. The common Title, Content slides plus related icon

centos 5.3 release notes in colloquial Arabic
I have been working with a new translator for the project and
particularly the wiki (whom I have known for perhaps 18
months), and he has put up a test translation for the centos
5.3 release notes at:
http://www.msamir.net/centos-release-notes/
I have encouraged him to subscribe here, and to
self-introduce. He remarks that there is not a clear editor
for right to left authoring in our

revision numbers on translated articles
Good Evening.
As the 'translation community' is growing I would like to suggest to
add the 'revision number' of the original article on which the
translation is based on, so someone else could easily diff to keep
translations up to date. It would be great if translators add
something like:
'translation based on #N'
as footnote where N is the version of the original

Can I merge Korean translation version to Info/docrails without any permission?
Hello everyone,
Because I don''t know communication channel to lifo/docrails, I ask about
permissions for that repository.
Recently I and friends started to translate rails guide for Korean version.
Maybe, I expect to finish all current rails guides translating in 2 months,
and then we''ll care
these documents for recent version.
Now, we provide a translation result site for

language setting of the R Window in Windows XP Korean ed.
I installed R in Windows XP Korean ed.
The problem is that R window shows Korean menus, but they are broken.
Even worse than that, Tinn-R cannot recognize the R window.
Question:
How can I change the Korean menus to English menus?
Thank you.

Submission from: (NULL) (203.252.165.51)
Dear the manager;

Locale problem with Korean
I installed wine-20010305 debian package on a Linux 2.4.2
running XFree86 4.0.2 .
I tried to run a simple windows game freecell.exe and it worked well.
But I can't see the korean menu in the game. I've seen only some characters
in the part of the menu such as (G), (H), .. , (N), F2, (S), F3, ..., etc , and
the part (maybe "Game", "Help" in English) disappeared.

R 2.7.[01] on Windows in Korean
We've seen a few reports on problems in R 2.7.[01] on Windows in Korean.
It does work on my laptop, but I've managed to reproduce this on a WinXP
desktop: it seems the problem lies in the encoding of the translations of
the menus, and might be a problem in the updated iconv used.
Workarounds:
1) Add LANGUAGE=en to the shortcut used to start RGui: then all messages
will be in English.

OpenSSH banner doesnot display multibyte characters like korean
Hello,
The banner message displayed on the screen contain octal values
instead of korean chars. Prior to ssh 5.1 the banner message would
display the charaters properly.
I understand that starting from 5.1 the message is passed through
strnvis() function.
I looked into documentation on strnvis and found that it does not
support multibyte chars and doesnt work well with international chars.

We have built a Suse Linux box as a member server to an existing NT 4
domain.
kernel is 2.6.11.xxx

We installed samba from suse rpm's.
We have noted that when we smbmount an existing nt 4 server, and the

cp -R smbmountpoint localfilesystem
we miss getting files that are named with Korean characters. The linux

Chinese, Japanese, Korean Tokenizer.
Hi,
I am looking for Chinese Japanese and Korean tokenizer that could can
be use to tokenize terms for CJK languages. I am not very familiar
with these languages however I think that these languages contains one
or more words in one symbol which it make more difficult to tokenize
into searchable terms.
Lucene has CJK Tokenizer ... and I am looking around if there is some
open source that we
